From Torrevieja to Torre De La Horadada

The Costa Blanca South is located in the province of Alicante, between the cities of Alicante (to the north) and Pilar de la Horadada (to the south).
The south of the Costa Blanca represents the jewel of the Mediterranean and receives this name due to its fantastic beaches of fine sand and transparent waters that bathe the most important municipalities on the coast such as Santa Pola, Guardamar del Segura, Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa (Playa Flamenca, Punta Prima, La Zenia, Villamartín, Cabo Roig and Campoamor). The climate of the south of the Costa Blanca is, thanks to its salt flats, particularly good and considered one of the best in the world. It is drier than in the north of the Costa Blanca, because it rains less and its landscape is flat and less green, but the palm trees and orange trees are very beautiful.
The Costa Blanca has more than 320 days of sunshine per year and an average temperature of 20 degrees, thus obtaining a temperate climate and mild winters, ideal both for your vacations and for living all year round. Additionally, its salt lakes significantly improve the humidity in this region and create an ideal microclimate.

Gastronomy lovers have a meeting point on the Costa Blanca. Rice, fish and shellfish, as well as local fruits and vegetables are part of Alicante's excellent cuisine.

It is the area with the greatest concentration of golf courses on the Costa Blanca.
Magnificent golf courses and multicultural cities with constantly evolving infrastructure make the south of the province of Alicante a place to live.

The OMS ranks the Spanish public health service as the seventh best in the world, with a large number of very reputable hospitals and health centers, such as the Torrevieja Hospital, which is listed as an example and a reference international level in patient care.

The tourist development of the Costa Blanca South has experienced spectacular growth over the last decade, which has favored the fact that it currently has modern service infrastructures, with hospitals, international schools, large shopping centers and some of the best golf courses in Spain and Europe. In addition, it is very well connected because it has Alicante airport to the north and Murcia airport to the south, just 100 kilometers from each other.
These advantages make the south of the Costa Blanca one of the most demanded destinations by national and international tourists.
Huge apartment and residential buildings abound in this area, as well as a wide range of tourist accommodation. The Costa Blanca South has become one of the areas with the highest number of second homes nationally and has a very wide real estate offer in terms of the number of homes available. The standard qualities of its houses and the wide offer available mean that the average price per m2 is much lower than on the Costa Blanca North, where the construction style is much more exclusive, characterized by a few blocks, but spacious apartments, with luxury services such as SPAs, gyms or wellness areas, or villas with modern architecture on the mountain slopes with large gardens, terraces and private swimming pools that blend with the view on the sea.

TORREVIEJA
Torrevieja is one of the jewels of tourism on the Spanish Costa Blanca.
Vibrant and intense, the city of Torrevieja is a modern city that enjoys an enviable sea-facing location and has managed to perfectly blur the lines that separate permanent resident life and Mediterranean tourist-style seaside life like few others European cities.

It is a city whose life revolves around the sea and salt. Its two immense salt pans, La Mata and Torrevieja, are surrounded by modern housing estates.
Connected to each other, these salt pans have been declared a natural park and, from La Mata, they connect directly to the sea. Currently, Torrevieja salt is exported all over the world and its annual production exceeds one million tons. In Torrevieja, the maritime tradition is perpetuated in the important activity of the fishing and commercial port, as well as in the numerous anchorages offered by the Real Club Náutico Torrevieja and Marina Internacional. At the end of Paseo Marítimo are the docks where ships heading to Cuba loaded salt and brought back popular songs, habaneras, a tradition that encourages the popular choir competition that the city celebrates every summer.

The town of Torrevieja offers a wide range of possibilities for the enjoyment and leisure of residents and tourists, with 9 beaches distinguished by "Q" for quality and more solitary and wild coves.
It has the best cultural offer in the south of the Costa Blanca, where you can visit museums, go to the theater or listen to an audition at the International Conservatory of Music.
A regular meeting point for any self-respecting tourist or resident is usually the market, open every day of the year, located on the main promenade of the city.
Torrevieja's nightlife is lively with a multitude of pubs and night bars, some with a long tradition in the area, where you can enjoy music of all styles and the lively atmosphere of its terraces next to the beach.
Large shopping centers, two water parks and a multitude of sports activities on the beach and a wide and more than generous offer in the restaurants complete a menu of options worthy of the most demanding.

Torrevieja is very well connected by road and located between Alicante-Elche airport and Corvera airport in Murcia.
There is a regular local bus service which serves the whole town and urbanisations. The bus station connects neighboring towns and also has a regular service with several provinces in Spain and many cities in Europe.

Being a modern city, super-fast fiber optic or broadband internet services are available throughout the city.

Torrevieja has over 50 years of uninterrupted urban development and has a great urban variety.
Torrevieja city center and around the port area are dominated by apartment buildings which normally do not exceed seven floors, but if you look a little closer it is easy to find single-family houses with one or two floors.
The prestigious tourist areas, in the northern and southern fringes of the city, at Torre La Mata and La Caleta, tend to have higher priced properties for sale, however, the areas on the urban fringe offer a wide variety of properties at more affordable and reasonable prices, the latter, located around the lagoons, are characterized by a calmer pace of life combined with the beauty of these natural jewels.

There is no doubt that the most demanded are the apartments in the city center, which represent excellent investment options since they have a relatively low cost, which, combined with the low operating costs and the ease of renting all throughout the year, reap excellent returns in terms of rentals.

ORIHUELA COSTA
Famous for its coves, beaches and golf courses, Orihuela Costa, along its 16 kilometers of coastline you can find coves and beaches of all kinds, all of fine sand and has several of the most prestigious urbanizations in the Costa Blanca, some of them of great international importance such as Cabo Roig, Villamartín or Campoamor.

In each of them there is a wide range of houses in which townhouses and chalets stand out.

Another of its strong points is the variety of environments that you can find in each of the neighborhoods of the area, from the most quiet and familiar to the most festive and exciting, famous for example the "Strip" of La Zenia, Cabo Roig or Villamartín , where you will find a multitude of bars and restaurants of all styles and atmospheres. The La Zenia Boulevard shopping center happens to be one of the largest shopping areas in the Mediterranean basin.
In short, Orihuela Costa enjoys an adequate and modern level of development, capable of satisfying the most demanding visitors and residents with quality services and facilities.

Orihuela Costa is characterized for being one of the main places of second residence in the entire Costa Blanca, it is a neighborhood almost entirely composed of macro urbanizations in which, above all, people from central and northern Europe settle for long seasons or even establish permanent residence.
Given its particular configuration in the territory to which it belongs, depending on the neighborhood where you are, you can find all kinds of houses in Orihuela Costa suitable for almost every type of pocket and economy.
In the Campoamor and Cabo Roig neighborhoods the general trend is towards large single-family villas with large plots, as well as in part of Punta Prima or La Zenia, on the contrary, in others like Villamartín or La Regia, the usual standard is duplexes, apartments or medium-sized bungalows.
Additionally, the neighborhood has been filled with urbanizations and residential buildings as Orihuela Costa has experienced unprecedented urban growth.
In short, an ideal neighborhood for those considering buying a house on the coast. The offer is very wide and the prices very competitive.

TORRE DE LA HORADADA
Torre de la Horadada belongs to Pilar de la Horadada, which is the southernmost municipality on the Costa Blanca and has two areas of great tourist development: Torre de la Horadada and Mil Palmeras beach.
Torre de la Horadada is a coastal town located on the Costa Blanca South with sandy beaches ideal for families with children who come to spend their summer holidays.
Torre de la Horadada and Mil Palmeras are the typical Spanish resort with new villas and townhouses at very competitive prices, as well as beachfront apartments built for people to buy their second home and contribute to the tourism industry and the Spanish economy. You can always find a property to buy or rent long term or weekly.

Torre de la Horadada has all the necessary services, but it is also only 3 minutes drive from the main town, Pilar de la Horadada, which can offer all the crucial services needed for modern life, several shopping centers, including branded stores specializing in food products from European Community countries and other parts of the world. Torre de la Horadada is very popular among tourists looking for something more than sun and sand, and although it is a mainly seasonal population entity, there is no doubt that many those who arrive fall in love with the benefits of the climate and atmosphere offered by “La Torre”. The city will appeal to those seeking greenery, more natural beauty and wide open landscapes facing the sea, and more and more are opting for permanent residence, many of whom are British, German, French, Dutch and Scandinavian.
